These reports analyze the pay of Early Childcare and Education (ECE) workers in 16 regions across the state of Michigan, proposing a statewide, system-wide wage scale that provides transparent and equitable wage lattices to bring ECE compensation closer to parity with comparable K-12 roles. The comparisons were between lead teachers, assistant teachers, aides/floaters, and substitute teachers. The deliverables for the project included one statewide report plus 16 regional reports. Each report was 54 pages.
